I stepped out to my back yard for a breath of fresh air, when I heard something funny. A band of raccoons were getting ready for a fireworks show, playing some music to pass the time while everything was prepared.

Their kits and mates were all sat across the lawn, on blankets of leaves and twine, anticipating the commotion to come in due time. Before I knew it the first firecracker was lit, and off they went! Banging on drums, sticks and pots, hootin and hollerin while the sky was set afire. I laughed with them for a bit, but soon I went inside, this is a common sight on a Louisiana night :3
